Come do some Holiday Shopping and help out the PTO while doing so!
Friday: 2:30-3:30pm Sunday: 10am-2pm (in the Cunniff gym) You can also buy books online and have them shipped free to the school. There will be blank paper wish lists for students to fill out if they come to class without money and will be shopping at a later time with an adult. http://onlinebookfairs.scholastic.com/default.aspx?f=3636 427

Our BoxTops competition is still underway! The grade with the most BoxTops through December will win a dessert party.
Second grade is the current leader with 513. First grade is close behind with 490. The other grades have work to do, but it's not too late to catch up! Send BoxTops in your child's folder (in a bag or envelope please). Jump at Launch on Friday, November 11 from 1 pm - 7 pm and 25% of ticket proceeds will support the Cunniff PTO!
To make sure the PTO receives credit, please show this email or mention Cunniff PTO when purchasing your tickets. We are also looking for volunteers to take turns being a PTO point person during the event. If you're interested, please email cunniffpto@gmail.com or reach out to Donna at 508-314-3152. We hope to see you there! Remember there is no school on Tuesday November 8th!!
Don't forget to vote and to support the 5th grade bake sale at the polls! Last school year, the Cunniff saved 38.4 pounds of plastic bags, bubble wrap, packing air pillows, etc. from the landfills for the month of February!
Lets try to beat that this year. Bring in your plastic bags Please Support the 5th Grade Election Day Bake Sale!
The 5th grade bake sale will take place Tuesday November 8th in the Cunniff school lobby from 7am to 7pm. We are seeking donations of home-baked or store-bought whole cakes, pies and breads, or individual-sized items such as 2-3 cookies, brownies or bars in a bag or individually wrapped. There will be drop off boxes at school for the baked goods in advance of the sale and we also welcome items delivered on the day of the sale. Additionally, we are still looking for some volunteers to work at the tables, and 5th grade students are strongly encouraged to help alongside their parents (remember, there is no school that day.) Please contact Patty Grady at pgrady291@yahoo.com to volunteer or if you have any questions. |
