Project Literacy and Watertown Public Schools are offering a free English class for adult beginners. This class is for parents and/or caregivers of students. Class Begins: Tuesday, April 11 Class Ends: June 9 Length of Class: 8 weeks Days: Tuesdays and Fridays every week (but no class during Spring Break) Time: 12:15-1:45 Location: Watertown Free Public Library at 123 Main Street, Watertown Square No childcare will be provided. There is a box in the main reception are of the front entrance where books can be dropped off. Yesterday was the opening reception for the Watertown Public Schools K-12 Art Show, where art teachers at all the schools choose artwork representing different grades. The exhibit is on display through March 28th at the Watertown Mall.
Thank you to all of the art teachers who participated and the sponsors who provided refreshments and treats! Last week students and teachers at Cunniff participated in an activity which was titled Open the Door to Reading. Students, teachers and staff members decorated office or classroom doors to represent a favorite book.
