School Supply Pick Up: Students accompanied by a parent/guardian are invited to visit Cunniff West (175 Main Street, Waltham) on Thursday and Friday of this week according to the following schedule:
Grade 3 Thursday, September 17 from 8:30 -10:00
Grade 4 Thursday, September 17 from 10:30 -12:00
Grade 5 Thursday, September 17 from 1:00 - 2:30
Grade K Friday, September 18 from 8:30 - 10:00
Grade 1 Friday, September 18 from 10:30 -12:00
Grade 2 Friday, September 18 from 1:00 - 2:30
During this time you will be visiting four stations. The stations are Registration, Health and Safety, School & Home Supplies, and Technology on Loan. We ask that you arrive during the time assigned to your child's grade level. Please also consider bringing a reusable shopping bag to hold your student's supplies.
Cunniff is giving away furniture in good condition! Items include file cabinets, bookcases, and tables of all sizes and shapes. You will be able to see these items in the parking lot during supply pick up. Many of these items can be used to organize and set up quiet school work areas for your student. Simply place your name on it in order to reserve it. You will need to have the item(s) removed from the lot by Sunday, September 20.
We are looking for Parent Classroom reps! To volunteer, please send an email to Cunniffpto@gmail.com with your name and the name of the classroom teacher you would like to be the rep for. This job entails receiving a list of parent emails from the class which you will use to communicate information from the PTO about fundraisers or any other pertinent information.
Fall After School Activity Camp starting Tuesday, 10/6/20 for kids 7-10 years old. We know that after several hours in front of a computer screen your kiddo will need a safe place to socialize with their friends and run around; all while staying safely socially distant! We've got you covered! The School Committee will be discussing the possible scenarios for opening the Watertown Schools in the fall at a meeting on Monday, July 27 at 7 p.m.

A groundbreaking ceremony is being held today (June 24) at Cunniff Elementary School. The School Building Committee invites the public to attend the event, which begins at 4:30 p.m. at 246 Warren Street. Those who attend must wear a mask or face coverings.
Ms. Ciarlone will be hosting Zoom read alouds on Wednesday evenings at 7:30. She invites all Cunniff students to join her to listen to these weekly stories during the summer months.

The last PTO meeting of this school year was held this evening. New officers were voted in for the 2020-2021 school year.
Jen Nicholson will be Co-President along with Jackie Airasian who will enter her second term. Lee Haley is our new Secretary and Natasha Brown will serve as Treasurer.

The Cunniff School Garden is looking for families to volunteer to help maintain the garden over the summer. If you are interested, please pick one or more week that works best for your family. You many also sign up with another family and share the responsibilities for the week. Families will be responsible for watering, weeding and harvesting during the week they sign up for.
