Thank you to all of the art teachers who participated and the sponsors who provided refreshments and treats!
Last week students and teachers at Cunniff participated in an activity which was titled Open the Door to Reading. Students, teachers and staff members decorated office or classroom doors to represent a favorite book.

It is noteworthy! This project involves featuring a word and an accompanying activity each week.
This word of the week is being used in a discussion during morning meeting in each classroom.
The words are: forgiveness, empathy, gratitude and compassion. Additionally, each grade level has received a text to read which nicely reinforces the importance of the word of the week.
The titles include:
Samples of student work featured can be found in the main lobby bulletin.
The Watertown Youth Girls Lacrosse program is actively recruiting players for the spring. No experience necessary, just an interest in this great game. We realize there are a number of girls who play other sports, however Lacrosse games are on Sundays, therefore, other team games may not conflict. As an aside, our coaches are understanding should girls have to miss a practice due to another sports commitment. They ask that players attend at least one per week.
This program is open to girls k-8th grade.
There are 3 teams that play on the travel team, 3rd&4th, 5th&6th, 7th&8th and K-2 is skills based only/no games
