Cunniff School PTO

About the Cunniff Parent Teacher Organization (PTO)
The Cunniff PTO (Parent Teacher Organization) is a parent lead group that works directly with
the Principal and Cunniff Faculty to improve and enhance the academic and social experience
of the students at our school. Every parent, guardian, and teacher is a member of the PTO and
all are encouraged to attend monthly PTO meetings, get involved, volunteer, and learn more about
the Cunniff School community.

The PTO meets the First Tuesday of each month at 7pm in the Cunniff Library (unless otherwise announced).


What do we do & why do we have fundrasiers?
Every year the PTO allocates funds to each classroom for supplies, field trip buses, numerous
social activities (see link below), classroom enrichment programs and much, much more. In past
years the PTO has helped to underwrite special requests such as a new classroom document
projector and enrollment in "Study Island" to prep students for MCAS. As an organization we get
a lot done for the school that most parents never even realize such as buying gifts of recognition
for retiring teachers and staff, contributing to school clubs, and recognizing how extra funds will
be distributed. PTO funds are raised through various fundrasiers held throughout the year (see link below).


PARENT INVOLVEMENT is very important and appreciated in making our school community
strong and supporting our children. If you are interested in helping out in any way there are
