About the Cunniff Parent Teacher Organization (PTO):
The Cunniff PTO is a parent led group that works directly with the Principal and Cunniff Faculty to improve and enhance the academic and social experiences of the students at our school. Every parent, guardian, and teacher is a member of the PTO and all are encouraged to attend monthly PTO meetings, volunteer, and learn more about the Cunniff School community.

Meetings:
The PTO typically meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 6:30pm in the Cunniff Learning Commons (2nd floor) and on Zoom (unless otherwise announced). Ms. Ciarlone attends and special guests, such as faculty members and administrators, frequently join as well. Meetings are a great way to stay informed and learn more about the ongoings at our school. We welcome the entire Cunniff community to attend!

What we do & why do we have fundraisers?
Every year the PTO allocates funds to each classroom for supplies, field trip buses, numerous social activities (see link below), classroom enrichment programs and much, much more. In past years the PTO has helped to underwrite special requests such as a new classroom document projector and enrollment in "Study Island" to prep students for MCAS. As an organization we get a lot done for the school that most parents never even realize such as buying gifts of recognition for retiring teachers and staff, contributing to school clubs, and recognizing how extra funds will be distributed. PTO funds are raised through various fundraisers held throughout the year. All requests for funding must be made in writing seven days prior to a scheduled PTO meeting to be considered. Submissions should be sent to cunniffpto@gmail.com and will first be reviewed by the officers and approved by the Cunniff Principal before the proposal can be voted on. The Cunniff PTO is a registered charity. Please contact us if you need our EIN or other tax information.
PARENT INVOLVEMENT is very important and appreciated in making our school community strong and supporting our children. If you are interested in helping out in any way there are numerous opportunities to lend a hand. We encourage you to explore our website for more specifics and to e-mail us with any questions.
